With 10 subsidiaries in Europe and Asia  and more than 60 agencies worldwide, Theben AG, based in Haigerloch, Swabia, is a leading manufacturer of solutions for home and building automation. A family-owned business, Theben employs just under 700 staff worldwide, including around 600 in Germany.

Theben provides intelligent energy-saving solutions for buildings, inside and out. In addition to time control, its expertise lies in lighting control through LED spotlights, presence and motion detectors, air conditioning with clock thermostats and CO₂ sensors, as well as KNX components for home and building automation. OEM solutions complete the product range.

The company is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 + Cor 1:2009 and has a testing laboratory authorised by the VDE institute. Theben products have already been honoured with several prestigious design awards. In 2015 the company received the "Most innovative brand 2015" award in the "Energy and lighting" category courtesy of the Plus X Awards jury.
